B Award

The B award is issued arbitrarily each year by the Executive Committee. Named after Benjamin Franklin Foskey, Jr., this award is presented to a Children’s Friend employee whose work ethic, determination and influence has given cause for notice and has, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, increased the social or economic value of the company. Though it is likely that lifetime achievement may influence the decision of the committee, long-term tenure is not a prerequisite for consideration of this award. The “B” award is available to all employees with at least 12 months tenure with the company. The recipient of the award will receive a cash award of $1,000, a pendent symbolizing the award, and a plaque inscribed with their name and an overview of the award. A similar plaque will be placed in the corporate office inscribed with the names of previous recipients.
