The Alma I. Dixon Award is issued arbitrarily each year by the Executive Committee. Named after Alma Ione Dixon, this award is presented to a Children’s Friend employee whose long-time service and dedication has enhanced the climate and the corporate culture of the company. As a “life-time achievement” distinction, the award requires a minimum of 10 years tenure (not required to be consecutive) with the company. At the discretion of the Executive Committee, this award may be presented post-employment.
